Dear ccNSO Members from the AP region,
Following ICANN84, on 18 November, the ccNSO Council elections for the Asia/Australia/Pacific region will begin.
Ahead of the elections, we encourage all ccTLDs from the region to verify who the designated voting emissary for their Country or Territory is and ensure that contact details are up to date. This will help avoid any last-minute issues and ensure that your ccTLD can fully participate in the election process.
An email was recently sent to all Emissaries from the Asia/Australia/Pacific region by joke.braeken@icann.org. Title of the email: Heads-Up: You Are Listed as Voting Emissary for Your ccTLD – Upcoming ccNSO Council Elections (AP Region). If your ccTLD did not receive this email or cannot locate it, please contact Joke Braeken for assistance.
Ballots will be sent by email – latest on 18 November - from the ccNSO Election Process Manager (noreply@eballot.com). There are two candidates standing for election: Boyoung Kim (.kr) and Sami Mohamed Ali (.bh). Both candidates will engage with ccNSO members and the broader ccTLD community during a Q&A session held at the ccNSO Members Meeting during ICANN84. To join the session or watch the recording, go to https://sched.co/29QO2
