Between 29 June 2017 (12:00 UTC) and 12 July 2017 (23:59 UTC) it is possible to apply for ccNSO travel funding to attend the ICANN60 public meeting, taking place between 28 October and 3 November 2017 in Abu Dhabi.
No early/late submissions will be accepted.
Funding to attend and participate in ICANN60 is made available to a small set of travellers, who meet the following requirement: They actively participate in the work of the country code Name Supporting Organisation, and make a special contribution to its projects and meetings. Examples of contributions to the work of the ccNSO: an active engagement in a ccNSO working group, a presentation at the ccNSO member meeting, or other engagements that strengthen the activities of the ccNSO. Important: Applications which do not clearly state an active contribution, are not eligible and will not be taken into consideration.
The funding covers an economy class ticket to the travel destination, the hotel costs for the time of the meeting and a per diem. A document with background information on the funding scheme and a link to the application form is available at: http://ccnso.icann.org/about/travel-funding
Once the application window closed, the ccNSO Travel Fund Committee members will evaluate all applications. The outcome of their deliberations will be published on the ccNSO website towards the end of July. All applicants will receive a personal notification as well.
