Background
The CCWG AP Chartering Organizations are:
- the Address Supporting Organization (ASO),
- the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC),
- the Country Code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO),
- the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO),
- the Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC),
- the Security and Stability Advisory Committee (SSAC),
- and the Root Server System Advisory Committee (RSSAC).
The Chartering Organizations are expected to, in accordance with their own rules and procedures, review and discuss the output of the CCWG and decide whether to adopt the proposals and the recommendations contained within. Upon delivering the Final Report on 29 May, the CCWG Co-Chairs asked the Chartering Organizations to respond with the results of deliberations within 60 days. If this is not feasible, the Co-Chairs asked the Chartering Organizations to let them know when they expect to be able to provide a response. The adoption of the CCWG AP Final Report will be discussed by the ccNSO Council, during its meeting on 20 August 2020.
