Heads up! ICANN73 ccTLD News Sessions: Applications for speaker slots open soon

In March 2022, the ccNSO Meetings Programme Committee (MPC) will hold the next edition of the virtual ccTLD News Sessions. The MPC will soon issue a call for presentations and is seeking speakers on a variety of ccTLD-related topics.

The pre-ICANN73 ccTLD News Sessions are an excellent opportunity for both experienced and new people to meet, share best practices, be informed about trends, and and discuss ccTLD-related aspects. When creating the agenda, the MPC intends to put a focus on contributions regarding capacity building efforts by ccTLDs.

When?

There will be 2 options to participate to the pre-ICANN73 Virtual ccTLD News Sessions. Each session has a unique agenda.

Session 1 | Wednesday, 2 March 2022, starting at 13 UTC

Session 2 | Thursday, 3 March 2022, starting at 7 UTC

Next Steps

The MPC will soon issue a call for presentations and is seeking speakers on a variety of ccTLD-related topics. Each proposal for a presentation is reviewed and evaluated by MPC. By mid-February, the MPC will publish the agenda for the upcoming ccTLD News Sessions. Leading up to the sessions, preparatory meetings for all presenters and the session chair will be held.

About the ccTLD News Sessions

Previous editions of the ccTLD News Sessions had an excellent collection of case studies, statistics, new developments, trends and more. The most recent session was held prior to ICANN72, and featured presentations on a variety of operational and marketing-related topics, including an excellent session on hot internet governance topics from a regional perspective.
