You are warmly invited to submit your own ccNSO anniversary video, as a unique and memorable way to celebrate. Please find all instructions and some frequently asked questions and answers below.
What is this about?
Twenty years ago, the country code Name Supporting Organisation was created. Previous ccNSO leaders created videos and reflected on the evolution and major milestones in the history of the ccNSO. The video was displayed during the ICANN76 ccNSO anniversary session. Please join the festivities and submit your own video now! A compilation will be presented during the ICANN77 Policy Forum.
What type of content should I include in my video?
The ccNSO celebrates its twentieth birthday. What are your ccNSO highlights? What makes the ccNSO valuable, in your view? This is an opportunity to thank all who have helped reach this milestone.
How long should my video be?
Keep it short! A minute or so will do.
What kind of video files can I submit?
Please submit your video as .mp4.
How can I record my video?
You may use Zoom to record your video. Here is an easy step-by-step approach:
- Start a Zoom meeting
- Test your audio and video settings
- Click Record. If there is a menu, select Record on this Computer.
- Start speaking, and look into the camera
- Stop recording
- End meeting
After the meeting has ended, Zoom will convert the recording so you can access the files. Once the conversion process is complete, the folder containing the recording files will open. The video file will be named video[random number].mp4.
What are the filming specifications?
- Use landscape format
- Sit or stand facing a window or other light source
- Use a microphone, for instance the one on your headset
- Record in a quiet place, without background noise
