Debbie Monahan is the Domain Name Commissioner for .nz, the New Zealand ccTLD. Her responsibilities include oversight of the .nz domain name space, authorising registrars, developing and monitoring the .nz policies and ensuring the market operates in a way that protects the rights and relationships of all parties in the .nz market. She has a Masters in Science from the University of Strathclyde and her previous roles include being a forensic scientist and managing the NZ Intellectual Property Office.
