The ccNSO is one of the "associates" or the Decisional Participant of the Empowered Community (EC). The sole purpose of the EC is to exercise its rights and perform its obligations under ICANN's Articles of Incorporation and the ICANN Bylaws. This and other pages on the role of the ccNSO as Decisional Participant are intended to inform the community about current and possible upcoming activities of the ccNSO as Decisional Participant with respect to procedures for exercise of the EC's right to Reject specified actions.
