The vote to determine whether the ccNSO membership adopts the proposed new ccNSO internal Rules is now closed

The vote to determine whether the ccNSO membership adopts the proposed new ccNSO internal Rules is now closed. Voting closed 06 April 2022 at 23:59 UTC.

Upon closure of the vote, 96 ccNSO members (55 % of the membership) have cast their vote. In accordance with section 5.3 of the 2004 Internal Rules (https://ccnso.icann.org/sites/default/files/filefield_25723/ccnso-rules-dec04-en.pdf), this vote is valid. Out of the 96 ccNSO members who voted, 91 members (94 % of the votes cast) approved the new Internal Rules of the ccNSO. Five (5) members (6 % of the votes cast) did not support the new Internal Rules of the ccNSO. Therefore, and in accordance with section 8.3 of the 2004 Internal Rules, the change of the Rules is valid.

By Tuesday 12 April COB, the voting report will be submitted to Council. The 2022 ccNSO Internal Rules will become effective after adoption of the voting report and upon publication of the adopted 2022 ccNSO Internal Rules on the ccNSO website. You will be informed accordingly, once this has been completed.
